Dear Tu and Jan,
Many, many thanks to you for the wonderful two days of birding at Kaeng Krachen NP, all the delicious food, and great accomodations. You took great care planning every detail of my trip. The birding was spectacular. I loved every minute! Even though I'd been sick for a few days before our trip, I'm feeling much better today thanks to the bird therapy.
It was great to meet Jan this time. Both of you are such amazing birders. Thanks again for your very kind invitation to come to northern Thailand for birding. I would love to bird with both of you again and am looking forward to it. Good luck with the B & B & B & B ...!
And thanks so much for the delicious fruit. My family has already eaten all the bananas. The papaya won't last long, I'm sure! And thanks for the gorgeous bird photos, especially the trogon photo. I'm going to have it framed and put it up in my office so I get to look at it often, and every time I do I'll think of you and Jan and the fantastic two days of birding!!

Hello dear Tu,
You and Jan have been on my mind and heart ever since I've met you. I'm home now, back in California, and still unpacking my suit case and opening 3 months of mail. I'm happy to be home but I really would be so satisfied to continue with my travels, especially in Thailand.
Thank you so very much for a wonderful 4 days of bird watching and exploring the wonderful natural world of Thailand. I so appreciate the little time that I had with Jan, meeting her and seeing why it is you love her so much. I love my little Thai purse with hidden zipper on the bottom and all the wonderful bird photos you so generously gave to me. Thank you, Thank you!! You two are an amazing team and I'm very happy for you to be together!
I've viewed your website and really love the trip you did with the family throughout Thailand. How lucky they were to have shared all those experiences with you. I wish that I had known you earlier but look forward to returning to Thailand and spending more time with both of you exploring more places in your wonderful country.
I will write again when I have a bit more time. Tomorrow I fly out of town for 1 week to attend a family reunion and wedding. Soon I'll get myself more organized!

Hi Tu,
we would like to thank you once again for the excellent guiding, arrangements and very nice company. The rest of our trip was also successful, we visited many places in the Phetburi area and saw many good species like Spoon-billed Sands, White-faced Plover etc. We also visited the Khai Sam Roi Yot NP which was nice place, but one day was not enough time to see all the places around there. Anyway, the huge Rong Jai fresh marsh area was excellent with many reed bed species.
Hope we could meet again, and make some birding together somewhere in the globe. Please let me know, if you have some interesting trips coming which could be possible to join up. Anyway, in the near future we have plan to visit also Northern Thailand and at that time it could be very nice to meet you and also use your guiding service. And if you are sometimes coming to Europe, please do not hesitate to ask me all the information you need. Warm regards also to Jan.

Thanks for a great week i Thailand! Mats and I appreciated your expertice and company fully. I am still tweaking my list but will send you an extract when I am done, seems like the total is 250 species - not bad.
I very much appreciate you sending me the phots. I have arranged for a pair of nice frames for the hornbill and black-backed kinfisher photos - perfect. I will most certainly send my birding friends your way.

Hi Tu,
Just wanted to say thanks for guiding us around Kaeng Krachan last month, we were very pleased with the birds seen and had a great time.
We also had lots of success in Khao Nor Chuchi and saw the Gurney's Pitta very well but unfortunately missed out on the Nicobar Pigeon.
Rob has been looking at his checklist, and there are still plenty of birds he needs to see in the North, so hopefully we will come back one day and visit you in your home town.
In the meantime, I thought I'd send you one of my best Puffin photographs to encourage you to come to England. This was taken on the Farne Islands to the North East of the country, they nest there every year in May/June in great numbers. Hope you like it!

Hi Tu,
Thanks so much for a wonderful birding day! I really enjoyed birding with you. Total species for the day was 81 with 29 life birds.
I took your suggestion and went to the golf course in Hua Hin on Saturday. They wouldn't let me near the golf course because of liability concerns, but they did let me go to the driving range ... and I had great looks at a hoopoe! THANKS!!
On the way to the golf course, right after I crossed the tracks I saw a bird on the bare branch of a tree in someone's yard. When I looked through my binos, it was a collared owlet, I think. Also found an orange-headed thrush behind some of the pool buildings in a quiet corner of the grounds of the Sofitel.
Many thanks again such for a terrific birding day and the beautiful post cards and poster you gave me! Everyone I've shown them to has been very impressed. I look forward to birding with you again.
